Role

As Executive Director, Amber Robinson provides leadership and oversight for the vision, operations, and academic programs of Colearn Academy. She works closely with staff, families, and school leadership teams to ensure students receive a high-quality, personalized educational experience rooted in partnership and flexibility.

Her responsibilities include strategic planning, school operations, academic oversight, compliance, staff development, and supporting the continued growth of the Colearn model across all grade levels. Amber is passionate about creating systems and school cultures that support both student success and meaningful family engagement.

About

Amber Robinson has worked in education since 2006 and has served in a variety of roles, including teacher, special education, curriculum developer, college professor, school leader, and homeschool mom of five. Since entering the world of online education in 2010, she has developed a passion for creating flexible, personalized learning experiences that meet students where they are while empowering families to play an active role in their child’s education.

Her background in both traditional and home education has shaped her belief that students thrive when learning is built around strong relationships, flexibility, and individualized support. Amber is passionate about helping families find an educational approach that supports academic growth while also allowing students to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

She is deeply committed to building a school community centered on partnership, encouragement, and meaningful connections between students, families, and educators.
