Role

Ms. Stanford serves as Assistant Principal for K–8 at Colearn Academy, where she supports students, families, and teachers across the elementary and middle school programs. She is passionate about helping students achieve individual success by fostering strong relationships, building confidence, and ensuring every learner is supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

She works closely with teachers to strengthen instruction, celebrate student growth, and create engaging learning environments that meet the diverse needs of all students. Ms. Stanford is committed to Colearn’s mission of partnering with families and creating a positive, student-centered school culture where every child can thrive.

Lindsey is passionate about helping students find success in their own unique ways and believes education is about much more than academics. She loves building meaningful relationships with students, encouraging confidence, and helping each learner recognize their strengths and potential. Supporting students through both challenges and achievements is what she finds most rewarding as an educator.

She is excited to join Colearn Academy because of its strong commitment to meeting the needs of all learners and fostering authentic relationships between students, families, and educators. Lindsey looks forward to collaborating with a team that shares these values and is dedicated to creating engaging, supportive learning experiences that help students thrive.

Inspired by a family of educators and her own impactful teachers, Lindsey became a teacher because of the lasting influence educators can have on a student’s life. She strives to carry that same encouragement, dedication, and care into her own classroom each day.

Outside of teaching, Lindsey enjoys entering giveaways—and her best win so far was a trip to Hawaii!
