She also values the opportunity to come alongside parents, offering support and encouragement as they partner in their child's education. She believes that strong relationships between teachers and families create the foundation for student success.
One of Hillary's favorite moments as a teacher is watching a student who has struggled with an assignment gain confidence, complete a project, and excitedly share their work with classmates. Seeing students celebrate one another's accomplishments and take pride in their learning continually reminds her why she loves teaching.
As a homeschooling parent herself, Hillary has firsthand experience with both the challenges and the blessings of home education. She loves being part of the Colearn community because of its unique culture of support, encouragement, and partnership with families.
